Make the RFQ clear across teams and time zones
Send the current drawing revision, CAD files, units, material grade, quantity and required date. Identify the governing drawing where a model and drawing differ, and mark the interfaces that control assembly. Use one revision reference in your email and attachments. If drawings require an NDA or restrictions on supplier access, agree those arrangements before exchanging restricted technical information.

Evaluate the supplier and the inspection scope
Request evidence relevant to the work instead of treating a website statement as approval. Agree the manufacturing route, any outside processing, material documentation and inspection deliverables for your parts. Define whether you require first-article approval, dimensional results or specific test reports. Request current documentation for any certification or capability required by your purchasing process.

Compare the delivered scope before placing an order
Confirm quotation currency, trade terms, packing, transport responsibility, destination and the handling of import duties and taxes. A part price without those assumptions is not a landed-cost estimate. Separate machining lead time, finishing, inspection and transport when planning delivery. Sample acceptance, revision changes and order confirmation should be recorded in writing. Request a quotation that separates the manufacturing scope from transport and destination charges. Price and delivery are confirmed for the reviewed job.
Questions before requesting a quote
Can I obtain an online CNC machining quote?
You can submit drawings and requirements through our online RFQ form. The quotation is reviewed against the part and delivery scope; uploading a file does not produce an automatic binding price.
Does the quote include shipping and import charges?
Only the agreed scope applies. Ask for transport responsibility, packing, trade terms and any included charges to be stated explicitly; destination duties and taxes require separate confirmation.
