How we work

We are a contract manufacturer of precision-machined components. That sentence does a lot of work: it means we do not sell a catalogue, we make what your drawing specifies, and the drawing is the contract.

Most of our customers are engineering teams — design engineers, buyers and quality managers who have a print, a deadline and a tolerance they cannot compromise on. What they usually want from a supplier is not the lowest price on a spreadsheet, but a predictable one: parts that measure right, arrive when promised, and come with the paperwork their own quality system demands.

What we chose to invest in

Three things, in this order.

People who can read a drawing. Every quotation is reviewed by a manufacturing engineer before it reaches you. That costs us margin on small enquiries, and it is the reason our first-article rejection rate stays low: problems get found at the quotation stage, not on the shop floor.

Measurement. A temperature-controlled metrology room with three bridge CMMs is an expensive thing for a shop our size. It exists because a tolerance you cannot verify is a tolerance you do not actually hold.

Process capability rather than machine count. We would rather run fifty machines properly maintained, calibrated and documented than eighty that are merely busy.

Where we are going

Every job carries its own inspection record: what was measured, on which equipment, by whom, and against which drawing revision. Lots stay segregated, drawing revisions are controlled, and first article results are documented before a batch is released.

We would rather show you an inspection report you can check than a wall of logos.

Working with us

You will deal with an engineer, not a chatbot. Quotations come back within a working day with a note on manufacturability. Drawings stay confidential, NDAs are signed before file exchange if you want one, and tooling you pay for belongs to you.

If we cannot make your part to the tolerance you need, we will tell you that too — and, where we can, suggest who can.
